James 4:5 - do you suppose it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, “He yearns jealously over the spirit that he has made to dwell in us”?
In an office, Ravi was a new employee in the design department. Ravi was very obedient and helpful to his manager. The manager cared for him, taught him, guided, encouraged and tutored him.
Ravi was influenced and manipulated by the Quality Department manager’s gossip and ill words about his manager. Listening to his sharing - Ravi used to behave differently with his manager and this Continued. The manager felt jealous in a positive way because he trained Ravi, took good care of him, and gave him importance. However, Ravi reacted negatively towards him at work.
Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit to his followers before going to heaven. He did this so they wouldn't be alone, helpless, or deserted. The Holy Spirit dwells in all who accepted Christ as their saviour. The Holy Spirit feels jealous when we do things that don't honor God.
Exodus 20:5-6: “You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love.
Judas Iscariot: He gave his priority to Money rather than Jesus
Acts 5:1-11: Ananias and Sapphira lied to the Apostles and God. God punished them for their deceitful actions.
I Samuel 15: 26 ….. But Samuel said to him, “I will not go back with you. You have rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD has rejected you as king over Israel!”

Isaiah 46:7 - God created us for His glory.
Matthew 16: 26 - For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
If we commit ourselves to fornication, adultery, deceitfulness, hatred among brothers/sisters, blasphemy, pride, practice of sorcery. The Holy Spirit who yearns for jealousy will grieve and will depart from us.
James 4:17 - So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.
